What awful news, no more Soul@Joes. The really sad part is not being given the opportunity to make it a monster of a night, because it would have been given the chance. Many, many people are going to be so disappointed at missing it.

A promoter / DJ as good as yourself won’t wait long for another venue, another dance floor. It may not be Joe’s, Chisser, but I know this much, it will be a club with a heart, soul and integrity…

To steal a line from a well know film ‘You build it and they will come’, well, you put on a soul night Chisser and we’ll fill the dance floor, I’m looking forward to your first night.

The best of luck to all at the club, Rob, Carol, Sue, Freddie, Moz, the bar staff and last but not least, yourself, the promoter of the best soul club around.

Sorry we couldn't make the first night of 2011 but one of those shifts that finishes late and starts again early the following day - hope to see you all at the Febuary date and so looking forward to playing for you all in March. Congratulations Tony M for a cracking spot that i heard you'd done this month.

Chisser? I recently read that N F Porter was over here in June performing in Oldham. He loved it so much that he is talking about coming back.
Could soul@joes hire him or any other live acts in the near future?

Sometimes you can 'prep' and all goes well. Other times, it goes 'tits up' (sorry girls). My Friday stint with Alec was a 'go with the flow' and throw some decent sounds in a box. Have to say what a good night it turned out to be. Cheers Chisser.

Look out, The Widnes Boys are coming. We will be making our 1st visit to the club tonite. If it is half as good as Soul at Joe's it will be brill.

I'd like to thank everyone at Joes, for a great evening, last Friday 2nd of Jan. The DJs played some great music, it was a great way to celebrate my birthday. Thanks again, always sure of a good night at Joe's.

Had a great night last Friday 2nd Jan the music and venue was fantastic, Sadly I'm not sure we can attend many nights this year as we live in Hampshire but good luck for future. Hopefully we can make it up there soon...

Merry Christmas to all at 'St Helens Soul Club', and we hope Chisser and Carol enjoyed their first Christmas as Grandparents.
